Saronville NE | What are you guys seeing price wise on feeder cattle in your area? Went to barn for first time today since we sold our grass calves and they have slipped some, more than I expected. Lots of 3 weights in that $1 to $1.17 range. 4 weights $1-$1.10, 5 weights $.95-$1.07, 6 weights $,90-1.03, 7 weights $.85-$1, 8 weights $.85-.92, 9 weights only had one group $.91. I ended up with some real nice weaned, preconditioned fancy black steers low 5 weights in that $1- $1.05 area. And bought some real nice black, green mid 7 weight steers for a buddy who owns a feedyard for $.90, and some real nice hereford steers mid 7 weights for $.88 for him also. | |
