Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | My Great Nephew had this just the other day. First time out this year with the InCommand in the Hagie. Last year we tried using Steady Steer in the Hagie. It works well in the combine for soybean harvest where we have some extra width and the head does not need to be perfectly aligned with the rows. It did not work very well on the Hagie for auto steer based on the planter AB lines so this year we didn't bother to install it. We made no changes in the configuration or setup.
Without the steering controller, the direction got reversed for his first pass this season since I believe his first move was backward away from the tender truck. He called me on the phone and mentioned that the depiction on the screen was backwards.
The direction can be changed as you mention but he was able to make a change in the setup that eliminated the problem. I'm not certain but I believe it was one of the GPS settings on one of the submenus. I don't believe he had a problem after he made that change.
I have read about others having this problem but never experienced it myself since all my activities involved a vehicle with auto steer so it never came up.
