U bolts are prone to break if not tightened to the proper torque value.
When the JD 510 disc rippers first came out we were having a lot of
U bolt breakage on the shanks until we figured out the set up guys were
just rattling them up with a impact wrench. After putting a stop to that
and using a torque wrench the trouble stopped.
Where can a guy get decent u bolts
