Subject: JD R450 steering

Deer Crek MN

Trying to put Autosteer on a JD R450 mower and there seems to be a dead spot at the top of the steering wheel where nothing happens. is about 1-2 degrees either way where nothing really happens. It is making the Autosteer swerve and be very active. I am new to these mowers, so wondering if that is normal or not.

Is that little dead spot supposed to be there or is there something loose in the linkage that needs to be tightened up to get rid of that?
