Reno Co KS | My cylinder tachometer cable tied itself in a knot. I looked it up, part number AH75615, and JD wants $321.39. Seems pretty steep.
Anyone know of a more reasonable tach cable? One end is squared, other is keyed, 75 inches long.
Or... What would be a way to measure cylinder speed without it? I have a hand held tachometer but not sure how to measure rpm without getting in a pickel sticking my arm in a mess of belts.
Now my plan is to watch what's in the bin and what's come out the back. I should get it close but like to have the gauge to glance at.
