most of the time you are running a fairly heavy wiring harness direct from the battery. for what you are looking for, you might be able to find something well used with a precision planting upgrade done on it in the last 10 years?? unfortunately for anything under $50k with the features you want it will probably have a chunk of acres on it and be well used.
Could you find a well used really cheap planter that's in decent condition and add precision planting stuff to it? We switched over a 16 row case 1250 planter over to V-drive for about $32,000, so a 12 row could be done for $24,000?? maybe....

I've thought of finding a cheap older planter and rebuilding it. I thought I might be able to find one already set up that someone trade in.
V- Drive? I've heard the term on here but not familiar with it. Is it a brand of electric drive? Kinda like V- set meters, I've heard the term but not exactly sure what that entails.
