West central Ohio | More water means it takes more laundry detergent. Has very high speed spin so clothing comes out much dryer than the old maytag. Doesn't take an hour to do a load of clothes like my aunt's new washer does. Also Speed queen not available at Lowes or home depot. Mostly sold through local appliance dealers. That's a plus for me. Had one issue under warranty. Local SQ factory trained service. Technician say ours was the first gray back (tc5) he had worked on for 3 or 4 years. You will have to look on internet if you don't know of a dealer. I kept the old maytag going as long as I could. Made it 26 years. When the time comes I don't know if I will spend the extra money for a speed queen dryer versus a cheaper one. Clothes dryers seem pretty basic to me. | |
