Harvest requires either a swather or chemical dessicant. Being an organic producer I have to use the swather option. Nice having a July harvested crop, but hard to get it planted early enough unless following another summer harvested crop.
Yields for me have been ~60% of winter wheat. As long as price is high enough that's ok.
Anyone ever planted canola in Central Michigan?
