| In worked ground where I'm afraid of loosing moisture I roll before planting, then I roll them again after to push the rocks down. Otherwise I plant then roll right after.
Normally I plant till dark then roll what I've planted for the day to stay caught up. But have had to roll after emergence and if that's the case I shoot for a hot sunny afternoon around second trifoliate but anywhere between first and third trifoliate is ok | |
