| Drone chat groups everywhere continue to be filled with guys who are running 30-36’ on fungicide. They constantly mention that they have to narrow it up if doing herbicide. Say what??? The quality of work being done by the majority of operators is a huge disservice to agriculture - all while celebrating the superiority of said application.
The technology of drone flight/control is amazing. The quality and efficacy of pesticide applications being made - at least in the central US - is an epic failure that continues to build momentum fueled by ignorance, arrogance, and a simplistic view of both flight and application dynamics. | |
