If you truly want to delete it today there are 2 steps. First is find the bad stuff in Land and Archive it like you were. Then you can change the filter in Land to "Archived" and you'll see them in there. Kind of like the recycling bin on windows. You can Delete from there and they are truly gone. 

Or if they sit in the Archive long enough they'll get deleted automatically. But in your case if it's truly extra stuff that's not yours just wipe it immediately.
