Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | Yes, that is my understanding. The Application Rate Module is still sold and supported on the older displays but is NOT supported on the GO displays.
I understood that there is an implement switch module that can be used in certain situations such as working with the L2 liquid module. I don't know if it could be used alone as just an implement switch. Just using an implement switch for a coverage map is fairly rare now days but still can be useful.
Another reasonably useful option is to have a coverage map created based on the status of auto steer. Many auto steer systems have the ability to create a map when the auto steer is engaged. This would not necessarily be an exact map of the operation but might can still be useful where no visible evidence of application is observable.
I have auto steer in my old Quad tillage tractor with a Trimble 750 and Nav II. I have it set to show coverage whenever auto steer is engaged. I can use the onscreen icon to force a coverage map even when I'm not using auto steer. I sometimes use that approach when I'm manually steering the Headlands to act as a guide for the return Headland pass. This is a minor benefit since it is quite obvious where I've been since I'm doing tillage but it does work.
