Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | I purchased a used Hagie STS-10 a few years back. The jockey said he was throwing in the NORAC. In other words, if it worked fine, if it didn't I had gotten it free. It indicated a failed sensor so I removed the NORAC display and sensors.
A few years later I traded that Hagie STS-10 in on a somewhat newer STS-12 with the same party. It also had a NORAC on it from the previous owner. Again the story was he was throwing it in. I tried it and it had failed sensors also. Once again I removed most of it and just run the height manually.
When I talk to the local guys I used to work with as a Tech, I get the impression that this seems to be a common problem. One mentioned that he felt one should avoid NORAC and go with another brand which I was not familiar with. |
