Subject: RE: Ag Leader InCommand 1200 NTRIP and connection issues

Fairfield County, Ohio, USA
Thanks, all. :)

AVP_Matt: Ohio (ODOT) CORS.

I posted my original message while I was really frustrated, because the fields we were working in -- all near the house, where we've always had a fantastic cell signal in the past -- kept degrading to StableLoc/WAAS and saying invalid credentials for NTRIP. But ultimately we realized that even our cell phones (both AT&T and Verizon) had exceedingly bad signal. All of the carriers have been screwing around with the signal angles in my area.

After that field, we moved to another farm, which has always had horrible cell service... but our cell phones had excellent signal from both AT&T and Verizon there. There were no RTK dropouts at all; it worked flawlessly. We didn't use hotspot from our phone -- we used the BR1 mini with no problems.

So I guess that ultimately my complaint is that when the InCommand loses NTRIP and AgFiniti (because it loses cell connectivity), it retries AgFiniti and gets reconnected, but NTRIP never seems to reconnect unless we manually tell it to. Or perhaps it retries once and fails, and then never retries again? No idea. But once the AgFiniti icon switches back to "good", we can go to Settings -> NTRIP -> Connect, and it immediately connects and resumes working properly. It's really frustrating.
