| I am currently having alot of issues with my autosteer roll cal. I am running a pro 700 on a magnum 245 with a 372 on digifarm rtk network. I have upgraded the steering sensor to auto sense. The tractor drives straight etc but i can not get it to stay calibrated on the roll cal. I can get it close to perfect and it will work fine until i park it and get back in it after a few days it will be off again wide pass narrow pass consistently. I rigged up a laser to mount on the center of the tractor and made a metal plate with lines on it to calibrate it and i have got it down to 1/4 of a inch off and that is good enough for me. Problem is later dates i go to a different field and it will be off 2-4 inches.
If i start the field on the left side i will have a narrow row on the second pass and a wide row on the following passing. I have checked the tool out used other tools to check and it follows. I use to use a fmx1000 to make my beds but when i upgraded the tractor it had the pro 700 in it and i have been fighting it for years.
Our beds are used for at least 4 years before we plow the field and replant and make new rows so i want to get them as close to even as possible. I usually pass a second pass in between my two passes to try and even it out which helps a little but it is still not right | |
