| For next year thinking a new planter. *to me* something not too fancy, but that should get seeds spaced, depth, at under 5 mph. For many reasons I like the 12 row folding, it’s easy to get thru gates, shed, on roads folded. Wnen 8 row rigid units have trouble.
I found two very similar units. Both farmers retiring, renting land out. They are not cheap. But both claim rebuilds in recent past. “ 12 row,Precision corn E set , meters trash wipers, New seed openers, drive chain and idler John deere 250 monitor, 3 sets of corn plates, 1 set of bean plates”
Do you need more than 3 options on corn? Is one option on beans enough? If not I see used in $15 area, how much are new?
