Westside, IA | Whats worse is back 20 years ago and custom drilling beans in a new field you fold up the drill to drive up the narrow path to the ridge, the stock candles on the 8400 to lead the way get up top fold out and start your outside pass trees thick all the way. Turns out this ridge is 1.5 miles long, at best 7 passes wide. So by the time you get done filling in the little spots not seeded its midnight and then comes the task of finding the little narrow path to get back down off the ridge, once down youre still 3/4 of a mile from your truck. Back to the truck at 2:30 am to drive an hour home for sleep, next year I had gps in the tractor and better lights. | |
