Illinois | Case IH 1250 16 row box planter stock meters, stock hydraulic drive.
Having an issue on half the planter with spacing. One side is showing 2 to 4 % placement errors on the other half it has about double the amount of placement errors up to 11 or 12%. Singulation looks good on both sides of the planter according to the 20/20 monitor. Population is also just a bit light say 500 seeds per acre on that side as well.
New drive sprocket and chain on the side acting up, checked the filter on the solenoid that sends oil to that motor and cleaned it. Switched the speed sensors side to side no difference. Doesn't turn hard when turned with a crescent wrench. Brushed out the seed tubes thinking maybe they had dust on them, no change.
Any other things to check or that anyone has had issues with ?
