NW Iowa | By all means he needs to experience the wheat run. It will broaden out his world by getting him around different people and their lifestyles. An Iowa farmer doesn’t have a clue as to what real harvesting is about if he hasn’t been on the wheat run. Don’t be surprised if it gets in his blood so he wants to go next year too. It’s a nomadic life and a young person likes to see what’s over the next hill. I did it for 13 years until age and family obligations caught up with me. | |
