Subject: RE: Transporting a Great Plains drill

michigan
It can not be lowered when folded the units are over the main frame lift wheels. I had one and when I bought it I backed it in a Landoll tilt trailer and chained it down. I hauled it about 350 miles. The drill I had was a no till with spring harrows on the rear. It was just under 16' wide some some care was needed in during transport. At least the wide point was above a car roof so only really had to watch trucks.
