I’m thinking about how that linkage works.

When you let it down, first thing that happens is the main lift lowers. Then the flex link extends to let the sides settle. You’d have to not let it go that far
Or support the drill units so they don’t tilt out, or best yet, chain them together.

But yes, probably could let it down
