Even if you set a field cultivator as deep as itll go, youre still not giving it much of a head start. Honestly if youre not running a stabilizer, in a normal year you'll likely lose more to gassing off even with it worked in. A cultivator doesnt really bury it, more like blends it in. The deeper you set the machine, in theory, the more dirt is blended with the fertilizer thus more is buried. Id worry more about burying chemical too deep if youre mixing it with the UAN than the UAN itself.
