1/2 hr west of Green Bay | 185# N seems like a lot to me for only a 150 bushel yield goal, but that's highly location dependent.
If it were mine, and I wanted to run 200# through the planter, here's what I would do:
Preplant spread - 175# Potash + 50# Dap+ 25 Ams + 50#Urea
Planter - 150# Dap + 25# Potash+ 25# Ams
Sidedress - 225# Urea + 50# Ams
That would give you 184-92-124-24s total, kinda splitting the difference between the recs for the lower testing sample and good sample. If you could variable rate the preplant spread, then that's a whole different conversation. | |
