N FLA		I started with kill cows years ago. One was a jersey Angus cross. A young cow. Kept her heifer calf that looked straight jersey to me. But was from an Angus bull. I lost both those cows and realized they just weren't as hardy as beef cows.

No way would I want to build a herd from jerseys and try to breed it out of them. I guess if you're just doing your freezer beef it doesn't really matter.

You commented "I'd like to get some nicer cows......"



Just cause you want to do something doesn't mean it's the best decision. But you have to live with it either way.
