East of Broken Bow | I have a Powder River. Works really well on bigger calves, but a little hundred pounder kind of gets lost in it. One thing I like about it is that each of the side bars open independently, so you can open it up just enough for the branding iron, and it still holds the rest of the calf. I've seen some where you open either one half of the side, or the other half. Then you get a calf that needs a brand where the halves meet, and you have to open the whole side to work it. That is what gets people kicked. | |
