Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | To avoid running long lines to old fashioned direct reading gauges, I've seen a few setups that mount the gauge in a position where it can be observed via a mirror. Maybe the regular rear view mirror or a special one just for that purpose. This can in some instances reduce or eliminate the need for long tubing.
Of course, the numbers will be a reverse image but probably still understandable. I thought I even saw a gauge one time somewhere that had the numbers printed as a mirror image so they could be read without problem in a mirror. Maybe a line drawn with a marker on the glass of a regular gauge would be helpful.
