NW Iowa
Is your 70 an all fuel or a gas? One gas cap or two? There is a difference in carbs between the two.
I did a rudimentary Google search, the 82 is listed for the 70, I assume gas. Isa your carb a duplex or a one barrel carb. The duplex is a two barrel, much wider than the one barrel. I could not find anything on a 74 either, are you sure it isn't a 71 or 72? I was led to believe all numbered Waterloo series tractors had the duplex carb except for the all fuel that had a single barrel like a 71 or a 72 but last fall I hauled a gas 60 that had a single barrel carb and it was not all fuel so I was proved wrong in my beliefs. There are other two banger experts on this site that know more than me about this. I hope they chime in.
