N IL | I have a Rogator 1084 3850hrs. It has been a great machine, but recently have had some issues:
Hydrualic:
-yesterday, the steps went down with the parking brake off and I was driving.
-the outer boom wouldn't fold. It seemed like it wanted to, but couldn't, I set the parking brake and it folded
-today, driving in 3rd gear down the road it acted like I pulled back on the hyrdo all of a sudden. It did it twice.
I started watching charge and drive pressures: charge ranges between 480-515 and drive between 3780-6720 (while driving) stays right at 6720 when stopped. What filters would be the first to change (they prolly have 200 hrs on them)?
Electrical:
-yesterday, while spraying, it all of a sudden stopped spraying. Turns out to be the main boom valve shut itself off.
the valve switch said it was still on. It kept doing it so I unplugged it while open, solved the problem.
-today, I left the flashers on after shutting it off and the sparge lights were blinking and when I shut them off and
turned them on, I heard a boom valve (I think) cycle.
-the rate has been erratic, jumping around especially when not all the booms are on. I hear the pump surging, but I can't
see what the pwm number is doing.
-I have replaced the viper pro with a viper 4+... could this be contributing?
Currently waiting for a tech to come out...Hopefully somebody can give some direction. | |
