SE Iowa | Do you have a silo currently? Do you like silos or did you use to have other ones? The cost per ton is about the same over the years just obviously more upfront cost with a silo. Pros and cons to both, personally I would love to have that sitting on my yard I’d have her fixed up and full by this fall. Just gotta decide what’s right for you and ur operation. silos are not a bad option, especially if you do preventative maintenance, unlike what some people would have you believe. | |
