Yup on that 4 pin round AMP connector 1 is ground, 2 is GPS Tx, 3 is GPS Rx, 4 is technically power but won't be used in your case. On the 4 pin deutsch 1 is Rx, 2 is Tx, 3 is ground. I feel like anytime I've matched Rx and Tx it doesn't work and they need flip-flopped, so if on the first shot it doesn't, take and flip Rx and Tx on 1 plug or the other. Ive made a couple of these before so I know it'll work.
