| I have one similar, she lost her calf and grafting a twin on, might take a week of putting her in the chute, 2x a day is enough if the heifer has enough milk for her, mine does not have quite enough so doing 3x a day. Had one other mother would not lick calf, but liked it and stood for it to suck so squirted Nestle chocolate syrup on it, she licked it off then, this one does not seem to like chocolate though, or maybe she just has standards and wants Hersey!
Update: went down tonight and the heifer was standing there like a statue letting the calf suck.
