Washington, IA | I seem to be having a gps problem with my gen3 20/20. I doesn’t happen all the time but last night was the worst I’ve ever seen it. Going one direction it shows I’m leaving a gap and then going back the other direction, it shows I’m overlapping. I’m running a Deere 1770nt planter with 2013 magnum 290 on Digifarm RTK so there is no overlapping actually happening. Just the monitor thinking there is. So obviously when it thinks it is overlapping it starts shutting rows off. I was on single row section control to start with but switched to dual end section control thinking it would have to think it’s overlapping 2 rows before shutting off but it was still doing it. So I made a custom section control and tied rows 1-3 together and rows 14-16 together thinking there is no way it would think it’s overlapping 3 rows but sure enough the next round it did so now I have spots in the field where there are 2 rows missing and spots with 3 rows missing. I ended up calling it quits before things got worse. PP tech supposed to come out Monday morning but wondered if anyone else had this problem.
