Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn.
I'm not familiar with Exact Apply but the injection pressure needs to be higher than the system pressure in order for it to "force" the injected product into the flow stream. Your calibration number may be incorrect for your pump and setup.

Does your system have a single flow column in the injected line? Having one is very reassuring as it gives visual evidence that the injected product is in fact being injected into the carrier. I used an older Direct Injection arrangement and I consider using single column (Redball or Wilger) as a must have addition.

I am guessing that some type of initial calibration is necessary. With the system I used, a calibration was required. It amounted to using a catch test where the output from the injection line was caught in a measuring container and compared to the amount shown on the display. This should be done with some back pressure on the injected line to more realistically replicate actual application. This was many years ago and the process is more refined now but the idea is still the same.

Back in the old days, Raven had two versions of their injection pump. One was referred to as High Volume and the other as Ultra low volume. The idea was the capacity of the pump was chosen to match the range of the applied rate. In those days the pumps were actually the same but the Ultra low volume used a gear downed transmission so that it could turn slower. Since the system watched the speed of the motor to determine its output, the calibration number needed to agree with the pump setup.
