If you had to do tillage, why would you do anything other than the moldboard? In one pass you have that field. So nice and smooth that you only need one finish pass and then plant corn. In fact, there's some organic guys that will spring moldboard and then Chase the plow with the planter. They have everything set to do a very nice job but they figure they will row crop cultivating anyhow so get that planter on there as soon as possible before any weeds have a chance to germinate and get going again.
