Missouri | There have been vaccines for it for quite some time. Regulations on the use of the vaccine available in the US make it such a pain in the ass to use that no one does.
There's also other vaccines in the pipe with different modes of action, but they have yet to move beyond the "promising" stage. A quick search shows publication dates indicating there is ongoing research, so they must not have stalled out yet. For some dumb reason many of these trials start out justifying their work using blood tests, so there is massive fallout once they get more funding and move to PCR proofing. |
