Copying and updating from a floppy is SLOW, and your computer was probably in the process of reading the file on the floppy, but had not completely recognized the new company there "yet". When I do that, I either read from a jump drive or dump the file from the jump drive directly into a temporary folder on the hard drive. Things seem to go so much more smoothly then. |
