That is the way I see it. All the inputs for cattle have been high and now cattle are getting cheaper like everything else so not going to be good. On the other hand a guy that feeds here said they were too high for him too so if all buyers are holding off you know what that means. But this is not a good time to sell and hasnt been for several years now. You have to take your calves through the winter and feed them now to do any good. At least that is the way I see it and it has worked that way for several years now. It looks like the deflationary theory is coming to pass though and I really think they will cheapen on through the winter. The demand for beef is down and there are too many sales at the store for beef. That tells me where the price is going.
