You are correct, as of a year ago or more, AgExpress can't repair (with new parts) Rawson drives. They're essentially boat anchors.

I suppose you could, if you had a wiring diagram re purpose the modules, but as others said I bet it's difficult.

They run weird vs other types of drives in that the stepper motor inside changed the valve for oil flow inside versus most hydraulic motors use either a servo control +/- and -/+ voltage or PWM signal to regulate the hydraulic valve. I have one still on the planter and a few I bought as spares so I can keep that one running my in furrow John Blue pump.

When one of my main drive Rawson's gave up the ghost, I just found a Deere hydraulic planter drive here on NAT classifieds for great money and swapped the planter drives to them.

We had Deere drives on our planter before and had ZERO trouble with them vs the Rawson's anyway. The Rawson's were good for the first 5 years or so, then needed more and more work it seemed. The Deere's seem to also have a wider RPM range I believe which made changing between beans and corn without a gear reduction as I needed to do with Rawson's.
