Subject: RE: How to Pick a Dentist

You should pick a dental office that makes you feel comfortable while you are there.

Most people that had dental work done in the 1950's and 60 rightly have reason to dislike going to the dentist. HOWEVER, modern dentistry has changed significantly and is much more comfortable than the dentistry that you may have experienced in the past.

Younger dentists are part of generation that is trained to make patients comfortable. Modern anesthesia should take away any pain from fillings, general operative procedures, and periodontal procedures.

Its very difficult to judge the quality of your dentist's work, so find a dentist that you like -- that will make it more likely that you go regularly.
