We hauled in a fair amount of beans at harvest for $12 cash. Not nearly all of them but a good chunk. I'm quite sure we were not the only ones. That is the opposite side to your argument. You could still have them in the bin earning carry and basis appreciation if applicable.
You must have had a heck of a good basis at harvest? Nothing remotely close to that kind of cash price here this fall. |
