Northeast IN | Neighbor was asking me about adding redball flow meters to his 13 knife side dress rig. I run a 17 row and don’t have them. In doing the math of GPM, i don’t think redballs could even work. Quick math shows 1.5 gpm on each row. Install directions say no more than 3.4 gpm per bank so that would be 2 monitors per bank. Lots of plumbing for banks. The stainless balls are the only ones that show they will handle the 1.5 gpm per row. I don’t see how it could work but now when looking I do see a ton of used applicators with redball systems on them. Do the balls just run at the top so that guys know they are actually flowing?? | |
