FYI. If your interested in getting any endorsements, ex tanker, passenger, ect, that would be the time to do that as well, as you need to take a class to get the endorsements now as well.
Are you sure about that? Maybe that's an OH thing. I know the training is now required on the national level for the CDL, but surely not additional endorsements. At least not all, or I got lucky. Mine was up for renewal earlier this month. Already had hazmat and tanker. Have to retake the written exam for hazmat every time you renew. So, I did a quick study at home, and went in. When they called my number I went up and said "I'm renewing my license, and I'd like to add the Doubles/triples endorsement." No problem. Went to the computer and as soon as I finished the hazmat test it started the D/T test. Piece of cake.
That said, is there really any reason NOT to get any endorsement that you think you might ever use, right away? |
