| I was out pulling apart a brush pile which I burnt about a month ago. Was not smoking any more but I did think there would still be fire in there. Well there was but I went on pulling it apart and spreading. Some smoke and small flames but I have done this before with no problems. My luck today a piece or small tree truck about 4 feet long and 10 inches in diameter gets wedged between the duals of the Versatile 875 and yes is was burning. I noticed right of way and tried to get it pulled out. It was too tight. Tried to put the fire out and I could not. Luckily my son was home and I called him to come out with big hammer and crow bar to get it out. Only half mile away he was there in a hurry and we managed to get it out. By this time the tire was burning already with flames about a ft high and the smell of burning rubber. For a min I thought the old Versatile was going up in smoke. | |
