Subject: RE: Lockdown electric tarp system from Sioux City Tarp

NW MN
I have their tarps, power tarp systems, and power traps on 3 trailers. Did them all at the same time. Tarps are thinner than what they replaced but they seem to stretch tighter than the heavier ones. The gear motors they use are off the shelf components that can be bought online for cheap, not proprietary.

One trailer has large commodity traps. The installers took off the two speed gearboxes. I had my doubts, voiced them to their guys, and rightfully so. Constantly tripped the breakers. I contacted them and they sent me heavier gauge cabling free of charge. I installed the new cables myself and it completely fixed the issue.

Another trailer had issues with the wireless remote maintaining connection. We did plenty of troubleshooting and narrowed it down to a faulty control box. Again, I had to install it myself but they sent me a new control box free of charge, and it solved the issue.

Have they been trouble free, no. After a year and some work they are all working great. Their support and after the sale attention has been excellent.
