When I was a pre teen, 60+ yrs ago, we had a dairy farm, raised corn to pick for grinding for cattle feed.
One Halloween we had some indian corn, and come spring I got the idea to shell it and throw it in the planter mixed with the seed corn. In the fall, it was fun to see all the tinted corn in the crib.....
