N IN | An IMD-600 is for an EZ Pilot, not an EZ Steer. T2 firmware needs to be V4 to run with anything newer than an EZ Guide plus (V3).
Edit to add: Try hard reset, ensure display firmware V8.10, download autopilot toolbox and flash loader 200 and verify/upgrade T2 firmware. It seems very odd if it says IMD-600 disconnected if it's actually set to EZ Steer.
