Subject: Report Summary

68340
After reading through the reports on Argentina, Brazil, Ukraine, Russia, South Africa, Croatia, and Canada the numbers tell me this.

82.6 million tons of production expected for all the above listed countries.

7.09 million ton increase or a 8.6% increase.

Now looking at the U.S. 2006 production #'s.

2006 production = 28.72 hectors = 272.93 million tons. 7.09 / 272.93 = 2.6% This tells me the 7.09 million ton increase in production for all the above listed countries equals an increase in production for the U.S. of 2.6% over 2006.

This 2.6% increase would also be equal to 278,991,500 bu. or .278 million increase in U.S. production.

Question. How much would the value of U.S. corn for 2007 change if we produced .278 million more bu. in 2007 over 2006 production ?
