Near Intersection of I-35 & I-90 Southern Mn. | You should be able to do this with the Dual port cable that connects to the 6500. It has two GPS OUT branches. I have such a cable but only use the main GPS branch since I do not have any situations where I need GPS for two devices.
I'm assuming you wish to continue to use the PF3000 for yield mapping but wish to add the Versa for steering?
You may already have this cable or you may have the more basic cable that has only one GPS out port. If your cable has two 9 pin connectors of opposite sex, you have the Dual port cable already. The branch that will mate with the Ag Leader 9 pin connector on the Ag Leader display cable is branch #1 and will provide power for the 6500. The other branch can be used for other GPS devices and will likely need an Ag Leader null modem gender changer to attach to the other display cable.
The 6500 can be setup so that each branch outputs identical information or each branch can be setup to output different information such as the BAUD rate etc.
In your case, you will likely want the PF3000 branch set at a rather slow rate with only the minimum NEMA messages. The PF3000 can be come overwhelmed and become sluggish if the GPS information it receives is too fast or too much
The Versa especially if it is used for steering, will tolerate or may require different settings. I would tag each branch to avoid confusion in the future.
Here is a link explaining the procedure:

I have seen situations where both GPS devices can tolerate the same settings. Then a simple splitter which splits one branch into two can be used. In your case, using the dual port cable is the best approach.
