Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa | I shouldn't complain, but this wasn't on my "To Do" list this morning. Could be a lot worse, just real annoying. Woke up to a house without water. Dear husband and oldest son checked out the obvious causes........no leaks anywhere (thank God), pressure tank's fine, have power to and from all the right places. They took the control box off the well at the other place and put it in here to see if by chance that's the issue. No luck there, so we're going to have to pull the submersible pump. Hopefully the "well guy" has a replacement one on hand so we don't have to wait till Monday to get it fixed. We think it was done last in the fall of 1992.
Amazing how many things you do in the course of a day that you don't realize require water till ya don't have it. :~) |
