Ontario, Canada | Yeah, absolutely, they make great pies! The runnier the better. Mom cooked the berries with sugar, on the stove and thickened with cornstartch and water. Poured it into a baked shell, yummy. Can't get my wife make me one, she says they're too seedy.
The best way to stem them, is to fill a grocery bag full of picked clusters, and freeze for a few hours. They strip off easily with a fork, and then you just pick over the berries for any misses.
They look pretty scarce up here this year. The clusters just aren't as full.
